The Battle of SARAGRAHI

0 240

Landscape of sand
Complimented by scorching heat
There stood our warriors with proud spirit
Waiting for the enemy to strike and hit
What they did wasn’t just brave
They taught us how to love your country.

They were 21 against 10000 Afghanis
They could have just accepted the defeat
They could have bent down to retreat
But why didn’t they did that?
Maybe because their hearts weren’t cowardly
They were not afraid and were fighting gallantly.
What they did wasn’t just brave
They taught us how to love your country.

They had families to return to
Getting back to them someday was their only dream
They taught us that sometimes in life
“LOVE is Supreme”
As their’s was the love for their country
“It looked as they were fighting with demon’s army.”
Wrote the General with deep regret

And huge respect in his dairy.
What they did wasn’t just brave
They taught us how to love your country.

Wherever you live
Whatever you do
It’s my suggestion to all of you
Please stay rooted with your culture
Doesn’t mean to disrespect others
What our heroes have done
Once just research that thoroughly
Then my friend you might also start, “Loving your country.”
